Return & Refund Policy
At Luma Loft, we want you to feel confident when shopping for furniture, home décor, and home products. Please review our return and refund policy carefully before placing an order.
Return Window
We accept eligible returns within 30 of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be:
- Unused and in new condition
- In its original packaging
- Unassembled, if applicable
- Free from damage, stains, odors, pet hair, or signs of use
- Returned with all parts, hardware, manuals, accessories, and documentation
Items that do not meet these conditions may be refused or subject to a partial refund.
Items Not Eligible for Return
The following items are final sale and cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective:
- Custom or made-to-order items
- Clearance or final sale items
- Mattresses, bedding, pillows, and other personal-use items
- Assembled or installed furniture
- Items damaged due to misuse, improper assembly, or normal wear and tear
- Gift cards
- Items returned without prior approval
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@lumaloft.shop.
Please include:
- Your order number
- Photos of the item
- Photos of the packaging
- A description of the issue
Once reviewed, we may offer a replacement, replacement part, store credit, or refund depending on the situation.
For large furniture or freight deliveries, please inspect the package before signing, when possible. If the packaging is visibly damaged, note the damage with the carrier and take photos.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.
For furniture, oversized items, and freight shipments, return shipping costs can be significant. These costs may be deducted from your refund if we arrange the return shipment.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Restocking Fees
Some large, oversized, or supplier-shipped items may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%. Any applicable restocking fee will be disclosed before your return is approved.
How to Start a Return
To start a return, contact us at info@lumaloft.shop with your order number and reason for return.
Please do not send items back without contacting us first. Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.
If your return is approved, we will provide return instructions, including the return address. The return address may differ depending on the item and supplier.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to process the refund.
Refunds may be reduced by:
- Return shipping costs
- Original shipping fees
- Restocking fees
- Missing parts or packaging
- Damage caused after delivery
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, provided the order has not yet been processed or shipped.
Because many of our products ship directly from suppliers or warehouses, we may be unable to cancel an order once it has entered processing, production, or shipment.
Exchanges
We do not guarantee direct exchanges. The fastest way to receive a different item is to return the eligible item and place a new order once your return is approved.
Refused Deliveries
If an order is refused at delivery for reasons other than visible damage or carrier error, the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs, original shipping fees, and any applicable restocking fees.
Lost or Missing Packages
If your tracking information shows that your order was delivered but you did not receive it, please contact us at info@lumaloft.shop. We will work with the carrier to investigate, but we are not responsible for packages lost due to incorrect shipping addresses or theft after confirmed delivery.
